Manila Elemi (Canarium Luzonicum )
It is Manila Elemi, an oleoresin obtained from the bark of Canarium luzonicum, an endemic tropical tree in the Philippines.

The Elemi essence comes from the Elemi resin, which is extracted from the Canarium genus and luzonicum species. This tree, which originates from Southeast Asia, grows in the Philippines, explaining the appellation “Manila Elemi,” which was also used to mention Elemi as a perfumery ingredient (the capital of the country is Manila).

Elemi, referenced in perfumery, is the resin obtained from the elemi tree (Canarium luzonicum) in the Philippines. In development, it is used as a fixative and base note and is valued for its fresh, lemon-pepper aroma with a slightly balsamic and incense-like undertone
